O.k. I admit it. I dread having to write each and every blog. I stress about what to write. Is it too short or too long? Does my topic seem lame? It doesn't matter if the idea has been percolating for weeks of five minutes. I panic. Nothing I write is as good as it sounds in my head. Then I dread the next blogs even more. In short, it seems the more I write, the less I enjoy it. It has zapped all the fun out of writing just knowing I have to do it. I miss the old days when I was writing as a break between tasks on the neverending list of assignments. Now it's on the list- a lot. Is anyone else feeling creatively dead? What do you do about it?

If you're looking for a good topic, give Fark or Digg a run. They're usually good for a couple bizarre news stories you won't find on the major outlets.
Absolutely. At times I feel like no matter how perfect my ruminations seem in my own head, they don't translate fluidly into good bloggerly writing. I often hit the "publish post" button while harboring much chagrine. Of course, reflexive frustrations and inhibitions are perfect things to write about in a reflexive "blog about blogging," but they don't necessarily have a place in the more specific realm of our own blogs. Even if you have nothing to write about, you can at least make it fun to read...happy ponderings!
